Lake Park Kite Festival (in the usual place), 10 a.m. to 2
p.m. This is a good place to fly single lines and help those that need it.
During the festival isn't really a good place to fly stunt kites because of all
the kids and parents running around. After lunch, we can always return for stunt
flying. Hope to see you there. |

Spartanburg Soaring 2016. << Click there <<The Spartanburg
Soaring International Kite Festival is on schedule for April 23, 2016 from
11:00-5:00. Clubs are invited to participate by calling 864-542-2787.
Spartanburg Soaring Kite Club will be there and we hope to have a lot of
WACKOS here as well. We will be planning a get together after the event for
fellow kite fliers.

Labor Day happens to fall on September 5th, so the event
is Saturday afternoon, September 3th, and all day Sunday, September 4th.
Monday, the 5th, as usual, is optional, as long as the fog stays away. |

This has been traditionally the weekend for the Cape Fear Kite Festival.
Last year's event was held at Fort
Fisher State Recreation area, just south of Kure Beach and adjacent to
the NC Aquarium. Our best time ever!
